THE SECURITY THREATS

TO AGODA:

THE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEMS

 1. Protecting your personal data
Agoda.com to prevent unauthorized access, they maintain reasonable physical, electronic and organizational procedures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access. Agoda may share your Personal Data with suppliers such as accommodation properties and other third parties. They appoint to perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting, data analysis, marketing (also on websites of such third parties), customer care, credit card and payment services and related services. All such third parties will be under an obligation to maintain the security and confidentiality of the Personal Data, and to process the Personal Data only in accordance with our instructions.

2. Access or change your personally identifiable information.
In order for customer to update their personal data, correction, retification, deletion or opposition, they have to contact Agoda via Customer Support page. Agoda will verify your identity before granting access or making changes to your personal data. This is to make sure that customers' privacy and security are protected well.

3. Credit card fraud
This booking system require customers' credit card details to guarantee the reservations. Agoda will send the credit card information directly to the accommodation at which the booking is made. In order to safeguard and encrypt the credit card information, Agoda use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology is used to establish an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. This is also to prevent Agoda from receiving a fraud credit card. In case fraud credit card is found, Agoda will terminate the booking immediately and inform the customers via email. Then, customers should contact the bank or card issuer immediately upon becoming aware of such unauthorized use. If customers suspect an unauthorized was made via Agoda, they must contact Agoda Customer Service team immediately.
